DAY 1: WELCOME TO MOROCCO – EXPLORE CASABLANCA

DAY 2: RABAT – CHEFCHAOUEN ( 250 KM )

Built in the Andalusian-style, the fort was home to many Andalusian immigrants, Arab tribes, and some of the most powerful sultans of Morocco. DAY 3: EXPLORE CHEFCHAOUEN
Continuing our Casablanca Morocco Tour after a tantalizing breakfast of the succulent dishes Chefchaouen is renowned for, we will begin our exploration of this breathtaking blue town nestled in the Rif Mountains south of the Mediterranean coast in Northwest Morocco. We will first take in the Kasbah of Chefchaouen, a small yet enchanting structure that dates back to the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries AD. Continuing our exploration of the city, we will spend the evening savoring the exquisite flavors of Moroccan cuisine in a quaint Riad. DAY 4: CHEFCHAOUEN – VOLUBILIS – FES ( 220 KM )
The next destination on our journey will be the remarkable World Heritage Site of Volubilis. This ancient city was established in the pre-Christian era and served as the administrative center of the kingdom of Mauretania. Located in the farthest reaches of the Roman Empire, this remote and remarkable city will provide us with unparalleled insight into the history and culture of the region. Following our exploration of Volubilis, you will journey to the holy town of Moulay Idriss Zerhoune, and be welcomed into a world of traditional Moroccan life. As night falls, we will arrive in the enchanting city of Fez, where we will stay in a beautiful and authentic riad. Here, you will be able to savor the exotic atmosphere of this remarkable destination.
DAY 5: EXPLORE FES
After enjoying a delicious breakfast, you will embark on an exciting sightseeing tour of the old city of Fez. Meander through the high walled streets and witness the daily procession of mourners entering the tomb of Fez’s founder, Moulay Idriss II. Founded in the 9th century, this city is the spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco as it is home to the oldest university in the world. Spend your day exploring the ancient city and its many wonders. Visit the stunning Mederassa Bou Inania, a 14th century madrasa, and the intricately coloured tanneries. Don’t forget to take a wander through the splendid Funduk Nejjarine, a gorgeously restored 18th century inn. When the day has come to an end, return to your hotel and sit down to a delectable Moroccan dinner. Spend the night in comfort and let the exotic atmosphere of this beautiful city lull you to sleep.
DAY 6: FES – MIDELT – ZIZ VALLEY – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA (HOTEL AT DUNE LINE)
After breakfast on the sixth day of our Casablanca Morocco Tour, we will begin our epic journey to the exotic desert of Merzouga, traveling through the breathtaking Atlas Mountains. We will pass through Ifrane, the most modern and pristine city in the country, and arrive at the edge of the Cedar Forest, and the city of Azrou, which is nestled on a hillside and surrounded by many kinds of woodland where endangered Barbary monkeys roam. We will then take a break for lunch in a Berber village, before driving down the curves and entering the pre-Saharan zone, passing through Errachidia and Erfoud, known for its pottery and fascinating fossil quarries. From the vast plateau, we will be awestruck by the giant sand dunes of Merzouga that stretch before us, as far as the eye can see. By nightfall, we will reach our hotel, and can rest easy knowing we have seen some of the most marvelous sights that nature has to offer.
DAY 7: MERZOUGA – ERG CHEBBI DUNES SAHARA DESERT ( 30 KM )
Today, you will continue the Casablanca Morocco Tour through a journey of discovery and exploration in the oasis of Merzouga. After a delicious breakfast, we will set off and admire the magnificent landscapes that line the edge of Erg Chebbi, the largest sand dunes in Morocco. We will visit the small village of Khamlia, home to less than 400 people, located at the eastern edge of Morocco’s Sahara Desert. This is an opportunity to explore the fascinating life of the Touareg people. We will then return to our hotel for lunch and some leisure time. In the afternoon, we will take an exciting camel ride, diving deep into the mysterious sand sea of the Erg-Chebbi, a sight that is sure to take your breath away. We will spend the night in a Berber desert camp and gaze in wonderment at the beauty of the night sky.
DAY 8: MERZOUGA – RISSANI – TODGHA GORGES ( 190 KM )
Beginning our journey at the edge of the captivating desert of Merzouga, we venture towards Rissani, the site of the ancient desert capital of Sijilmassa. Here, between the 14th and 18th centuries, immense fortunes in gold and slaves were exchanged as caravans traversed the Sahel. Upon arrival at Zawiya Moulay Ali ash-Sharif, we may explore the bustling Marketplace and Fondouks, where the donkeys gather. We then continue our travels, following the winding Dades Valley, to the grandiose canyons of Morocco’s Todgha Gorges, located past the Central High Atlas Mountains. As one gazes upon these awe-inspiring landscapes, the grandeur and beauty of the Colorado Plateau come to mind. Following an exciting day, we’ll be led to the scenic Tssidrine road, to witness a mesmerizing sunset, before retiring to our luxurious hotel/riad for the night.
DAY 9: TODGHA GORGES – DADES VALLEY – OUARZAZATE ( 164 KM )
After a delicious breakfast, we will take an incredible journey along the historic road of 1000 Kasbahs, driving through the stunning Dades Valley. Here, we will have the opportunity to explore the impressive gorge and valley, while enjoying a traditional Berber lunch. One of the most noteworthy sights in the area is the Kasbah of Ameridil, a remarkably well-preserved building. Our journey will then take us to the Rose Valley, renowned for its apricots, roses and its vibrant Berber culture. The magnificent views and friendly locals of this area will undoubtedly leave you in awe. Finally, our trip will take us to Ouarzazate, the gateway of the Sahara Desert. Home to a 19th-century palace and the renowned Taourirt Kasbah, Ouarzazate is often referred to as the ‘Hollywood of Africa’ due to its picturesque landscapes and world-famous film studios. Here, many blockbuster movies, including Lawrence of Arabia (1962), The Last Temptation of Christ (1988), Gladiator (2000), and Game of Thrones (2012) were filmed in the area. DAY 10: AIT BENAHDDOU – MARRAKECH ( 200 KM )
Since 1987, Aït Benhaddou Kasbah has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a breathtakingly enchanting red mudbrick Ksar (fortified village), erected in the 11th century. For centuries, it served as a strategic stop for caravans of camels, numbering hundreds, that crossed the trans-Saharan trade route from Sudan to Marrakech, transporting gold, silver, and even slaves and returning with salt. After admiring the Kasbah, we will head to Marrakech via the Tizin’tichka pass. Along the way, we will make a stop to explore the town of Telouet and its ancient 17th-century Kasbah. As we travel further down the Tizin Tichka road, we will take in the magnificent sights of the Berber villages. Finally, we will end our journey in the mesmerizing medina of Marrakech, where we will spend the night in a local riad.
DAY 11: MARRAKESH, FULL GUIDED CITY TOUR

DAY 12: MARRAKECH – HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS - IMLIL ( 70 KM )
Early in the morning of the 12th day of our Casablanca Morocco Tour, we will take a breathtaking journey through one of the most picturesque Atlas Mountain valleys. Upon arriving at Imlil, a village at the base of Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa at 4167m, you will have the opportunity to take a gentle trek or ride a mule to meet the local Berber families, the earliest inhabitants of Morocco. As you discover their culture and traditions, you will be able to enjoy a homemade Berber lunch or a picnic.
